A visual interpretation of the song, Clarissa and Renee came up with the idea of two girls from 'two different worlds' meeting in the forest. Clarissa a refined socialite and Renee a gypsy-ish tree-dweller sort of thing. Anyway, they dance, spin generally frolic and learn about each others' lives. They part both better for the experience. Or so I imagine. One of our big award winners, this sketch has gone on to be one of our most parodied as well, both in I'll Never Do Acid Again and The End part 2.

 ON-SET DISASTERS
  • There was only one day to shoot this movie, and unfortunately, it ended up raining. Nothing terribly bad happened during the shoot, other than Clarissa and Renee getting pretty soaked and surly. On the walk back to the car, though, Clarissa managed to twist an ankle.

  •  CUTTING ROOM FLOOR
  • Nothing was left out of the movie - outtakes were actually added to make it longer. Most memorable were the dogs, who just happened to be in arboretum that day and ran on-camera. Despite Alan's insistence on not adding them to the movie, they were editied in and became one of the most popular parts...

  • Dancing,

    running,

    and spinning....
