This one starts as many other episodes did, with Jason intentionally screwing up his lines, and Alan kicking him off the set. Carre then launches into a strange rant on all the ways she could kill him, and Alan leaves in fright. He heads down to the bathroom, where Juston pops out, after having been missing for over a year. Turns out he had been in there the whole time. He's jealous of Jason's co-host status, and offers to replace him, but Jason's contract doesn't allow for that. Juston starts to scheming, attempting to bump Jason off a couple times. But after a couple unsuccessful attempts, he, Jason, and Alan head into the producer's office. We hear a scream and the gunshot that kills Jason. To be continued...

COMMENTARY

Hmmm... well, Juston and Carrie's performances were great, but otherwise I don't have too much good to say about this one. After 25 episodes without any attention paid to continuity, I wanted to bring the 'old school' cast back for one last appearance, and make Jason's death sort of a 'beginning of the end'. Unfortunately it didn't come close to turning out like I had hoped, so it's kind of a disappointment....-Alan Winston
