DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR EP19: THE YEAR 2 PREVIEW

This episode came about due to the breakdown of our editing facilities at KBVR. With no way to get the first Wookiee Awards finished, and broadcasting already started, this episode was quickly thrown together using whatever we could find. In it, Alan and Shawn look at the antiquated (mostly 1970s) equipment that the station had at the time, complain about not being able to get their shows done, and beg viewers to donate something. They also play trailers and previews of all the things that were coming that term on the show. And at the end, Craig Coleman makes his debut on the show, takes a look around the station, then walks off without a word, disgusted - making fun of most of the recruits that KBVR gets.

COMMENTARY

After not having looked at this one for two years or so, I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it. Naturally, it's not the best-constructed of episodes, considering the fact that we didn't have any good equipment to put it together on, but it's still a pretty happy memory for me, hanging out with KShawn at the station that summer...-Alan Winston
