A parody of the X-Files, this sketch followed the continuing adventures of Mulder and Scully as they track the nefarious Monkeyman. After capturing him (and stealing his Halloween candy), they learn that they are going to be reassigned. Mulder prepares by running for the Batcave! Or something.

COMMENTARY
|
|
Well, the acting in this one is quite good, but otherwise, this one hasn't survived that well. Never did get around to producing the other segments, which is unfortunate considering that there were two full-length scripts using these charaters already written. But it's alright. Oh well, it's still kind of fun...-Alan Winston

ON-SET DISASTERS

For one of the scenes, Jackson and Carrie were not able to shoot it together. Of course. So, Jackson was shot exiting the bathroom and that was cut in with the shots of the rest of the scene.

Originally, Juston and Karyn Chandler were cast in main roles - Karyn as Scully and Juston as Monkeyman. Neither showed up for the shoot, so Carrie and Alan took their place. Also, this segment was supposed to be part one in a series, sort of like The Jedi. Even though the sequel was partially shot, it was never completed and the series was abandoned.
