A 'camp REwind' movie, shot during the 2003 festival in Rapid City, South Dakota, Mount Rushmore is Burning features appearances from moviemakers from around the country. Funeral Home's Jonason Ho wrote, directed, edited and scored the movie, which stars Deviant Films' Jonny Margheim, John Armstrong and Bobby Brown as a group of treasure hunters, preparing to steal the gold buried under Mount Rushmore's giant President Lincoln. Along the way, they are pursued by the spacesuit-clad kung-fu Master Kane, played by Jesse Maddox of Dislocated Productions. Master Kane is singlemindedly seeking revenge, and tracks down the trio underneath Mount Rushmore for a final confrontation. Mindscape and Microcinema Scene's Jason Santo also cameos as the Greek god Zeus. Produced for and shown at the 2004 camp (now known as Microcinemafest), it's a short burst of Jonason-style fun.
