THE GRAVEYARD
While not as frequent as during the high school years, we've had our share of projects that got started and were never completed. Here's a listing of those unfortunate projects that never were:
Bad Movie 2
2001
Action
Much like the previous Bad Movie, this was an impromptu action short. A group of people were together with the intention of shooting the ending of The End part 2. But, only Alan, KShawn, Jenn, Warren, Kim, and Jack showed up. They played around in the studio, hoping to create a Folk Singer esque impromptu trailer. The results were less than desirable, so the footage was banished to the behind the scenes special for The End part 2.

2000
Drama
Originally slated to be the final sketch shown on Delusions of Grandeur, this was Alan's Dark and Stormy Night gauntlet. Also a way to test the effects eventually used in The End part 2, this was the story of a girl who is running from voices in her head, trying to convince her to kill herself. Starring Erin, this one was actually half shot and half edited, but scheduling, sickness, and so on led to the shelving of this one.

Untitled Dark and Stormy Night Gauntlet
2000
Horror
The fifth entry in the dark and stormy night video gauntlet, this one was produced by Erin. It was a story of two sisters - one good and alive, one evil and dead. One night, the living girl starts to be haunted by the ghost of her dead sister. Starring Sasha Avakova and Rachael Marquez as the sisters, this one was never finished - scheduling conflicts between the two stars led to too many delays.

Bad Movie
2000
Action
Basically shot by a bunch of people hanging around the station waiting for a softball game to start, this was sort of an impromptu action movie sort of thing. Produced (I think) by Paul Pistey or KShawn, it features Paul coming into Alan's office and stealing his camera. He tries to get the other Bravado folks (Shawn, Erin, Jeff Welk) to help out, and they respond by getting into a big bizarre fight with him. Shot off the cuff, when viewing the footage the movie was given its title and the decision was made to shelve it. Someday, this one might see the light of day, either as a sketch for Shameless or an editing project for Erin...

GI Joe versus Barbie 2
1999
Animation/Comedy
A sequel to his 1998 hit, this was Andrew Link's third Bravado production. He wrote the script and shot all of the background elements for the chroma-key. Unfortunately, he never got around to shooting the chroma-key part with the action figures. The footage was never seen, and Andrew moved on to his own group, where the movie may get finished someday.

The NeXt-Files 2: Micronization
1999
Animation/Comedy
Well, part 1 did say 'To Be Continued', didn't it? The sequel began with Mulder and Scully chasing the Monkeyman again, only to get zapped with a mysterious ray. They get turned into action figures and meet - you guessed it - the Star Wars figures from the Star Wars Stop-Motion Theater. Wacky crossover ensues, with Mulder chasing Chewbacca around thinking he's bigfoot, and Luke clumsily hitting on Scully. Most of the animation for this one was completed, but once again the live-action part was the undoing, as we were unable to get Jackson and Carrie in the same room at the same time.

1998
Horror
Warren's first attempt at a slasher flic (pre The Night is Young), this was the story of a young couple terrorized by a masked, knife-obsessed maniac. A scene or two was shot with star Karissa McGahen, but that footage had to be destroyed. Not for any aesthetic reason, but still, for a good reason. Warren may still shoot this one someday...

Iceberg!
1998
Mockumentary
Alternately known as The Making of Josef Dubois' Iceberg!, this was a fake documentary chronicling the work of a tempermental director as he attempted to re-make Titanic from the iceberg's point of view. Cory Frye wrote the script and played the part of the narrator / head of the documentary crew. It starred Dan Magill as Josef, Jackson Haynes as his full-of-himself star, and (originally) Karissa McGahen as the ditzy alcoholic actress. Unfortunately, attendance problems doomed this one to failure. Jackson, with a new job and baby, couldn't spend much time on the project, understandably so. And Karissa had her own baby to worry about, so her role was recast. And recast. And recast. And recast. After shooting the same scenes for the fourth time, the project was dropped almost halfway through production. Probably the project that people most want to see resurrected (it won the Wookling for best unfinished sketch in 1999), hopefully this one will get recast and restarted once again.

Seed Money
1998
Drama
This was supposed to be Brock Jacks' first production. A bank robbery / heist movie written by Dave Sallee, it starred Brock and his friends Karissa McGahen and Chris Singleton. Alan directed and Warren assisted (his first shoot). Only one scene was shot, though, and Brock couldn't get everyone back together for more. Eventually Brock and all of his people disappeared.

Untitled Scream Parody
1998
Horror/Comedy
Another Cory Frye script, this one was based within the continuity of the show. It featured stars Alan and Jason on-camera while techs Carrie and Jackson got calls from a mysterious killer. Jackson, of course, gets killed repeatedly. Unfortunately, after shooting one scene, both Jackson and Jason dropped out of the project, for various reasons. Some of the bits in this script did eventually become reality - Cory contributed to Dead Air, and the whole The End part 1 and 2 storyline shared a lot of elements with this script.
