With so many Jedi 5 and Sight and Sound shoots being ruined by cast inattendance, Alan came up with a 'backup project' to shoot on days when Case and/or Jackson didn't show up. We threw toghether all sorts of elements, a folk singer who hides guns in his guitar ala El Mariachi, a generic villan, some generic FBI Agents, and some comic-relief thugs. Everything was shot impromptu and thrown together into a trailer for a 'generic action movie'...
I'm still surprised at how well this one turned out. Expectations understandably weren't high, seeing as how we were making it up as we went along and not even trying to have a consistent storyline. But hey, good luck happens every once in a while.
