Joe runs his own production crew, F&C Productions, in Corvallis, and made his initial contact with the group because of it. He's also another fan turned castmember (this may be the reason we don't have many fans - we tend to hire them). Joe made his first appearance in The End part 1, begging Alan to be let on the show. His tenure as castmember lasted all of 15 seconds before the Slasher cut him down, as he was doing to all the other castmembers in that episode. Over the next year, Joe and his F&C cohorts have shot many shorts for the show, including the hilarious party scene from Gauntlet 216, and the Wookling Awards segment from the 2002 Wookiee Awards.
