One of the most important members of the group, Jason was recruited in 1992 for the production of Huck Finn. Jason's farm and forest land were used for that movie, and repeatedly thereafter for the next six years. With a good mind for humor and an obsession with Vanilla Ice, Jason fit right in. Heading to OSU with Alan, he was selected as the original co-host of Delusions of Grandeur. It was reasoned that Jason's out of control anarchic approach to production would be a good counterpoint to Alan's near-obessession with detail and order as host. The first year had its moments, teaming with Alan on MIB and co-writing the X-Files parody The NeXt-Files. But Jason's appearances sharply dropped off by the end of the year, due in both parts to Jason's severly declining interest, and audiences' lukewarm response to his character. The second year of the show saw new co-hosts, and Jason happily fading to the background. But he did return to produce an episode himself - episode 25, The Beef Bowl, was probably Jason's shining moment on the show. With his attacks turned towards the protesters at the Beef Bowl as opposed to fellow castmembers Alan and Carrie, his character clicked and Jason ended up producing one of the best episodes of the show ever. Unfortunately, the glory was fleeting, as the 38th episode of the show brought Jason's 'murder', and exit from the show. Jason was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999, and gladly left Delusions behind. Still in the area, it's recommended you not approach Jason about his 'fame'. There's issues, unfortunately. Even so, his contributions to Bravado cannot be denied, and he can still be classified as 'missed', even if not everyone would agree.
